Question about vac-forming plastics...

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Question about vac-forming plastics...

Post by BriJr » Thu Aug 06, 2009 1:14 am

Hey all,

I'm getting started on a portable N64 and would like to vac-form a plastic case. Problem is, I've seen so many different places telling me which plastic to use and how thick it should be that I don't know what to get.

So, what do you suggest for a plastic and thickness?

For an older smaller console you want to use .08 inch plastic. This should be good for vacuum forming.
