black polystyrene sheets?

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

I know there are white polystyrene sheets but does anyone know where I can buy black polystyrene sheets? (To lazy to paint)

what thicknes you recommend? I am making a case from PVC/SINTRA and just need to vac form a nice clean, black Styrene Sheet around it to make it look sexy :)

I was thinking .02 cm thickness?

No, 0.02cms = 0.2mm as there are 10mm to 1cm. 0.2mm is too thin, you are looking for 2mm as ideal, also known as 0.080"

Bear in mind, you might start with 2mm, but by the time the plastic has formed around something, it is stretched, so you will end up more like 0.5mm - 1mm thick.
