What type of plastic did ben use on 360 laptop?

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

I read the tut on egadget and it said SINTRA/PVC, but how does he get it all shiny like this image:

Also is a 1.5" SINTRA/PVC sturdy? I use plexi glass but that stuff is real heavy and hard to work with.

There is this somewhat labor intensive tutorial on how to give a near-mirror finish to spraypaint: http://www.mnpctech.com/case-mod-paint- ... w-to1.html

The only difference in spray painting plastic is that you use more aggressive sandpaper and apply a Flexible Primer before the color coat.
