Has anyone used a pre existing case for there portable??

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

I was wondering if for example if I was to make the Atari, NES,SNES,ect portable and could use like a game gear, game boy,ect case for it. With some modification to the case and what not. Has anyone done this? with any kind of case not just handhelds. Thanks

Most cases like gameboys and game gears tend to be to small.

Now there is franken casing. Franken casing is using the case of the console (or anything) and modifying it into a usable case. Triton is who you would want to talk to about this.

It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.

There have been multiple NOAC gameboys. Also, one of the first NES portables was made using a Nomad. I believe it was Kevin Horton. Yup. Link
