how hard is Acrylic to cut?

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Could i cut it with an X-acto knife?
I mean i already know of some plastic i could use but if i could use acrylic in the same way then....

depends how thick it is.....if it is a thick board, NO WAY!!! Tried it for 5 minutes and didnt get anywhere. If its thin maybe, but do u have a dremel tool or something?

I used Dremel to do a rough cut and then a bench grinder to get a smooth edge and shape. Saws were useless and Jigsaws chipped it (depends on the blade you use of course)

Yup - dremel and sand is my method.
