So I was wondering, if I vac-form a case, how would I go about adding screw posts to the case?

Why does everyone recommend this when you can buy Abs cement from Lowes/Home Depot/ Any Hardware store for around $4 a can and no chance of messing up or wasting time/

At just about any hardware store you can buy threaded nylon or aluminum spacers which make great screw posts. Also, I recall Turbo Tax using dowel rods. He cut them into short lengths, drilled a small hole, and then screwed the screw in before installing it into his case. The hole is then already threaded.

You can also get self-tapping screws, and just use hollow ABS rod.

But you can get pre-threaded nylon standoffs at your hardware store easily.
