Bondo

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Bondo

I keep reading here about about this and bondo that. I never heard of the stuff until I came here. Can someone quickly explain its use to me? I went to the Bondo website and I see several types of adhesives and cement type stuff. Which would I want? Is this something that I can use to keep my portable's internals in place instead of screws and such? Thanks.

The marine epoxy putty is without a doubt the best bondo product for portables. It's as hard as real plastic, easy to apply, does not smell, and is cheap ($3 for a piece that lasts enough for 3-4 portables.). You can find it at Wal-Mart.

Oh yeah be sure to cut it evenly or it won't dry right. Use a knife, not your hands even though it says you can on the package.
