wanted : someone to build a portable for me.

Post by jeffslot » Sun Jan 23, 2011 12:32 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to commission someone to build a quality portable for me. If you are interested in building a portable for me, please pm me why you think you are qualified and some examples of your past work, and how much will be needed. I'm also interested in finding out how you work. By this I mean, when you'll expect payment, how \ when you'll communicate with me during the build process, etc.

Currently the systems I'm considering for this project include (PS2, Neo-Geo, Gamecube, WII or N64), although if you have a another idea - I may be open to it.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Jeff

Hi guys,

I did receive my portable from MrAfterFx. I'm very excited to have it, but currently it is unplayable.
Any ideas on how I can go about fixing this issue ? The main issue is that free mcboot loads up, but I can't stop the menu from scrolling down. So I'm never able to select a game to play

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YM-GsFlssKo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I am in touch with MrAfterFX, so hopefully he will be able to help me too.

If I'm unable to fix this, it will be available for sale soon - I sadly can't spend the time I used to on tinkering with electronics.

Thanks

Jeff

This is how I received it. Whatever happened to it, must have happened during shipping..

My thoughts was it getting bumped around in shipping. I tested it right before putting it in the box and packaged it to the best of my ability. The 4 way contact pad is probably being pressed meaning that it makes it scroll down continually. Doesn't look like an electrical problem and I can promise you it wasn't my fault. I did pay for insurance on "Snowball" as requested by Jeff and I can fix your problem myself.

Hi guys,

I've got a couple of options with this one that I'd like to pursue.

My best choice would be

1) to be able to have MrAfterFX fix this, as it would be nice to have it working. I haven't heard back from him recently, unfortunately.

2) I'd also be open to re-selling it if anyone is interested, please send me a PM.

3) I'd like to have it repaired - so if you think you're qualified and up to the task & extremely reliable please also PM me. Thanks

Jeff

How much? Pictures?
Ever heard the saying "Half full, or half empty?"
Well, If you measure the cup, and put a line in the middle, and fill to the line, it's half full, but If you fill it to the top, and drink to the line it's half empty!

Hey Jeff I sent you a email to you when you emailed me a bit back saying that I could fix it if I can get it shipped here. Its an easy fix, just sounds like the controller needs to be realigned.
