WTS: PSP w/ lots of accessories *price drop*

Post by jdmlight » Tue Aug 31, 2010 9:29 pm

Hello all, I haven't been active here all summer, but I'm back! Somehow I'm exactly the opposite of most people on this site: I have more free time during the school year than during the summer. But anyway, onward...

I have a PSP Fat that I'm looking to sell. This was vskid's PSP that I bought a few years ago. I thought I'd use it, but I never used it much, so I'm selling it. It's CFW 5.00 M33-6. I have:
  • PSP console sold
  • Fairly new black faceplate (minor scratches, see pictures - I can include the ugly yellow faceplate if you want; the new faceplate is already on the PSP) sold
  • 4gb Memory Stick (Sandisk Ultra II, so movies and games copy really fast) sold
  • Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron
  • Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City
  • Spider Man 2 UMD movie
  • Pandora's battery (softmodded) sold
  • New 1800mah battery (from eBay, it looks like a Sony battery, but it could just be a good-looking knockoff :P) sold
  • Wall charger (Sony one) sold
  • 1 car charger
  • Hard case (has storage for 2 games in addition to the PSP
  • Soft case (just a basic sleeve)
  • Wired remote
  • Wrist strap
  • USB cable
  • 5 extra analog stick covers
Unfortunately the PSP itself isn't in the best of shape. The UMD door is broken and it's painted this really ugly yellow. Now, my conundrum: do I fix it (get a new UMD door that stays on and paint it whatever color the buyer wants) or sell it as is? I've decided to fix it up before selling it. This PSP will be black (no ugly yellow), have a working UMD door, and have a brand-new battery (in addition to the Pandora's battery listed above). Since I'm fixing it, a buyer will have to wait for the parts to get here (eBay said 7-10 days from today, September 3rd).

Well, all of the new parts arrived. It now has a new battery and new UMD door. Unfortunately, the UMD door doesn't stay closed, the spring is missing. However, the new UMD door actually stays on (the old one was broken and would fall off when you picked up the PSP), so a small piece of scotch tape should be all that's necessary. Since it's modded with custom firmware, I'm not sure why you'd use UMDs anyway - just copy the UMDs to the memory stick.

Ideally I'd like to sell everything as a bundle for $100$90 plus shipping.

Pictures as soon as I'm done getting all of the paint off the back of the PSP.
As you can see, there are very small bits here and there that still have yellow paint (MagicGate logo and headset logo mostly). Other than that, the yellow came off really well.

Well, there clearly isn't any interest here (if you're even sort of interested, PM me and I'm sure we can work something out - I'm willing to deal). Does anyone know if you can sell CFW PSPs on eBay?

Sorry, I figured this thread was dead. I'll update the main post to reflect sold status.
