How much would this cost me if I wanted someone to build me a gaming rig with the following specs:
CPU= Core 2 duo E8600 3.33 Ghz
RAM: 2GB (2GB x 1) = 1 stick of 2GB ram
MoBo: EVGA brand
SSD: 120GB (OCZ vertex - 64MB cache)
Graphics: Undecided (EVGA brand prefered)
PSU: 750W (highest quality plz)
OS: Windows XP
Case: Antec 300 (with 3 extra fans installed)
+ decent 5-fan controller

I would do it for $100 + cost of parts + you pay shipping once completed.
I would also recommend a larger case, such as an Antec 900 Two. Also, 4GB of ram would be much better. I love Intel and nVidia but if you want better performance for cheaper, consider going with AMD and ATI. The Phenom II 555 BE is $99 and is a 3.2 Ghz Dual Core CPU stock. You can unlock 2 more cores in it and overclock it which makes it a $99 Quad Core CPU. Also, For about $300 you can Crossfire two Radeon HD5770 graphics cards. Also, SSD's are pretty worthless in my opinion. A 500GB WD Caviar Black Drive is cheap and fast. Windows XP is outdated, get Windows 7 64 bit. I would estimate a rig with m recommended parts to cost under $1000 for sure.
Anyway, consider me. I've built multiple gaming rigs and am actually building one for my friend tomorrow when the parts arrive, and one for my uncle in a few weeks. Send me a PM if you're interested. We can work out a final list of parts and I can put a final price on everything.
