WTB: Open source handheld

Post by Notyu Oviosly » Mon Apr 26, 2010 2:29 pm

I have been waiting on the Pandora for a while now, and since it will be a bit before it arrives on my doorstep I need some device to fiddle around with in the meantime. It can be any device, gp2x, dingoo, gp2x wiz, whatever, just as long as I can fiddle around with it without much trouble. Just name your price and I'll see whether I want to pay it. I already have a PSP but I do not wish to permanently mod it because I want access to it's online features.

Do you have a NintendoDS? They have a pretty fun homebrew scene.

And by the way, I'm in the same boat as you. But I don't think it'll be long before the pandora arrives now. Maybe a couple weeks? Atleast for me since I'm like number 70 in the list.

I'm probably in the late 3000-4000's, so I will expect to wait a while. :(

As for the DS homebrew scene, I already ordered a flash card which will be coming soon. I want a real homebrew console though, considering I'd have to use my DS Lite (complete with faulty shoulder buttons) with the flash card and I usually carry around my Dsi.

Still looking for offers! Was already PM'd about a Dingoo. Offer me something before I concede!

Concede to Dingoo. I have one and its really neat. There is tons of software for the native firmware and plus it runs linux for endless ammounts of ports. Check out dingoonity.org for all the things that are available
