Let me refrase my self. What does it not do? (don't say work). Is there nolovablechevy wrote:the sega cd just doesn't work. as in, it doesn't work. i had two not working sega cds and combined the working parts to make one working unit and one not working. maybe someone can tinker around with it who knows more about electronics than i do. but, as far as i know, it won't work.project_failure wrote:Whats wrong with the sega cd?
how much for spinball?
how about... $8 including shipping?
power, video, sound? (This means before taking out parts.) What parts did you take out?
It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.Sword_Gun wrote:Klef your asking a whole bunch of videogame players.. for girl advice.. Nice.

oh, sorry! i had two none working units... the first did not read cds at all anymore... and the second would power on but the intro screen would freeze at it saying "sega cd." the person i bought the second one from promised me that it worked when they shipped it to me. so i don't know if while shipping something was knocked to cause it to stop working or what. since i don't know much about the sega cd, i simply switched parts around till i got a working unit. i don't know if it's fixable or not. all i know is when i opened it up, there are basically 3 parts to it. i switched one of the three parts (the part that has the dc jack and a/v out) to get a completely working unit.
