To be honest, I am not really wanting to buy TP, I just wanted to borrow it for the twilight hack without fear of getting the new patched version.
Would you be open to a loan, the ship on to a real buyer?
Fine if not, I can always try blockbuster.
I may want some of the other stuff I mentioned, but do not hold it for me.

I could do it in 30 seconds flat, palmer!palmertech wrote:That is not easy to do. There is a product called the "RazorX" that will do it, though.mmoshkowich wrote:If you could hack up the PS1 analog stick so I can use it as tact switches then I would buy it from you!
Its a simple pot joystick, Alls I gotta do is just cut the shared trace between pins 1 and 3, and make pin 2 GND and there you have it!
Quit pretending to know things! You are thinking of the psp joystick.

I have tried the mod myself, and the main problem is that it does not really function as a tact switch. It may work in some applications, but the fact remains that it is still a resistive strip, and by cutting the trace, all you do is cut the resistance in half for each side, still too much for a lot of stuff.
Also, if it DOES work, it usually has a big deadzone. Deadzone=fail.
Have you done it, SS? Maybe I did something wrong.
Excellent

I'm not really sure I want to hack it up. I extended it for use in a portable.
