In the NES by Hand, is the Phono Jack for headphones?

No, its for a dc adaptor in case you wanted to run the nesp off of wall power. Don't try putting headphones in there...you'll either damage the headphones or your brain :wink:

No, by Phono jacks Ben is referring to RCA jacks which came into use with phonographs. They are the standard yellow/red/white connectors.
