Buying Parts in the UK

Post by BluHawk » Mon Jun 08, 2009 1:42 pm

Hello, I've just bought the book and am getting my bits and pieces together that I need to attempt the handheld Nintendo Project.

I'm personally quite excited about building this but am a little concerned about ordering things through radioshack in the US.

Has anyone been through this process in the UK? If so how did you go about finding all the parts?
Does Radioshack ship internationally?

Also on that note have been trying to confirm some of the part numbers in the book to their radioshack website and have not had much luck their either.

Any advice? Please help!

Many thanks

Thanks for the advice. I know Maplins is a great resource but wasn't sure if that was the best place to pick up everything I need

Any other tips before I get started would be most welcome!!

If you need anything shipped from the US, I would be willing to do that for you.

rswww.com
http://www.maplin.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
cpc.farnell.com
http://www.digikey.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

With those 4 you'll be able to get virtually anything you need.
