hi
i am working on building the nes hand built from ben hecks book.
i have not make a case but have made great progress in the wiring
and soldering.
i got sound to work and it sounds ok.
when i insert ear phones in the phone jack the unit shuts off
i removed the cartridge slot. i already fixed the pins.
the video is messed up in games. there is glicths in the games.
there is a few things that work in games. like mario

i was hoping that i didn't fri the nes mother board.

No, you didn't fry it... if you did you would get nothing. That's good news. :D This actually happened to the NES a lot; there is nothing wrong with your portable. You might have a screwed up connector and might have to buy a new one (Amazon: $5 or less). Or you might have screwed up the wiring. Check that too.
