Did you even get a "gallery proof" before it went to press? Or is this book being made by "on demand" electronic publishing, and they expect you to have had it all proofed electronically before even sending it to the publisher? Or is your editor supposed to be taking care of all that?

Nah, the proofing I did was with PDF's of the layouts (and it was rather last-minute!) I'm sure that's MUCH cheaper than actually doing lith's, printing copies and THEN having me say "this is wrong"

RE: Copies in England, I suppose they'll have to translate it into "English English"... you know, change my "whiles" to "whilsts" and "garbage" to "bin" And of course add more SPAM references. :)

Well, good luck with the last-minute DIY proofing. I only hope you don't need to start a thread here (or even worse, a whole forum LOL) called "Book Errata".

But if there are significant problems, I wish you success enough to be able to make a revised Second Edition to fix them!

Not that it matters but Canada uses those spellings too.

I went to Barnes and Noble to see if they had it - couldn't find it, but saw some other books in the series so I figured I was in the right area.

Oh well. I got my "box O copies" to give my friends... but thought it'd be cool to see on a shelf.

I got mine today and Ben did a great job on it... Even though most of us here know how to make these systems, It's a great resorce to have and it's a must have for anyone wanting to learn how to make them.. Out of 1-10 I give this a 10 :D with two thumbs up.....
