Gamevue PS1 Screen

I have a Gamevue PS1 screen that I aquired (my friend gave it to me because the ps1 it was attached to was broken) and I was hoping to start making a portable SNES w/ it. Is the screen similar enough to the PSOne brand screen to use? I'll try to get a picture, but I'd like at least a maybe before I open this thing up...

I can't seem to find any information on that particular screen anywhere. To my knowledge, you're the only one who has that brand of screen so I don't know if you're going to get any help along those lines.
