glue

I am building a psone portable (well at least trying to :?). I wanted to make it out of plexiglass (so you can see all of the cool stuff inside), but when I use the superglue it just makes my whole plate a cloudy white mess.

Is there any way to fix that without covering up my whole project?
Is there any special type of glue that will hold strong and dry clear with no residue?

Please let me know if you know of anything :!:

I believe some epoxys will dry clear.

I use straight acetone to glue plexiglass. It is basically a solvent that softens the plastic so it can bond with something else when it cures.

The residue from it is easy to clean, but the acetone is something hard to use. You can get it from any hardware store.
