Capacitors

In the hand built nes section of the book you need a polarized 1uf capacitor. Could I just use a non-polarized 1uf capacitor instead? I need a quick reply beecause I am going to radioshack soon.

This needs to be polarized. Radioshack will not have this part. You will need to order this from an specialized electronic store or online. Or if you have an extra nes there is one on the motherboard. Just make sure you dont take it off the one you are using for your project. : )
