u guys are making this a lot more confusing than it is...youre talking about the model 2 saturns which take more than one power supply. the model 1 (or at least the 3 that i have) ONLY take 5v, making things much simpler. I know I could cut the boar din half and stack the PCBs, but that's almost imp...

Sega Saturn
Looks like nobody's talking about this system, so I'll be the first to speak up :) Anybody try to make one of these portable? I made mine portable, but it only gets about an hour of battery life...I don't mind though, cause I like the option available. However, I would reeeally like to cut down the ...

i made a sega cdx portable...it works with 32x as well and is now my absolute most favorite system. The Sega CD and 32x were fantastic systems despite popular belief, you just have to know what games to get. For example, Space Harrier and After Burner 32X were the first arcade pertfect version avail...

yeah, it's a simple fuse that blows. I have blown 2 TVs and fixed them both this way. One TV broke because I switched the polarity accidentally, and the other broke because I inserted all the pins one over (so one pin was sticking out and the rest were all mis-alligned). With this simple connection ...

I have broken them before but I know a trick to fixing them :D Soler a wire from the + input on the buttom of the tuner/volume dial board and attatch it to pin 7 of that board (looking the speaker side up and counting from the left side) hope that ...

hey thanks a bunch :) Forgive my ignorance, but what is a dc-dc converter exactly? Does it convert the two voltages into one? Any links that would show me where to buy one? I'll just use 1 7.2v 3000mah pack for 1:30-2 hours...that's plenty good enough for me since I have 6 7.2v packs I made. Thanks!...

Hey you guys, I worked for a long time to build a super small portable N64 but stopped some weeks ago because I couldn't get enough battery life out of the system (15 minutes on 4 AA's). I'd LOVE to know how to increase the battery life or what kind of battery I should use (I got 15 minutes even off...

lol, I'm glad he approves. I am a super-sega freak as well. I have a massive MD/Genny collection but nothing in the prototype area. Sounds impressive though...does he have a Neptune? :P BTW, I added the radio because I just wanted it. It's super-tiny and the radio itself only cost me $5. I modded it...

nope that isnt true...you need to modify the jumpers on the top board to play imports. I think Im the first one to find them (lol) theyre marked JP1, JP2, JP3, and JP4 on the left underside. I also know how to do a Genny import mod using only one dip switch :) Model 1s are easier to mod than model 2...
