Re: Hackmodford's Gamecube Log
I connected the modchip. I turn the gamecube on and it goes straight to the menu. The wiikey fusion is blinking However when I go to the disc section it says "reading disc" then "insert disc" (just for a moment) "Then reading disc" I believe this happens when I have no connection between the lid sw...

Re: Unicycler17's GCP worklog
I read Technott's post about exploding Lipo's..... I don't think I want to take the risk with them. So i'll probably go with Nimh batteries, or the li-ions in your (hailrazer's) guide. Getting a good capacity with 12v nimh's would probably take up a ton of space... but Im scared of lithiums now haha...

Re: Unicycler17's GCP worklog
Could I use this battery? http://cgi.ebay.com/Lightning-Power-11-1V-2200mAh-35C-3S1P-Lipo-Battery-/260745559663?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cb5a57e6f" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If so would I just use the universal 11.1v li ion smart charger from batteryspace? Oh ...

Re: PS2 Laptop
How basic? Like you're glueing the screen to the ps2 and thats it? Cuz if you're actually making a laptop, ur not gonna want lots of wires and battery packs strewn aroundSplatPop2 wrote: Like I said - I don't want things to get too complicated; this is going to be as basic a portable as they come.

Re: PS2 Laptop
The screen said it can run off a 12v car adapter. That doesn't mean the internal batteries are 12v. So you could probably use 7.4 volt batteries for both systems.

Re: PS2 Laptop
Now, seeing as it will make things a lot easier, I think I'll just use an external battery pack to power the PS2 . No. Don't do that. That will make it uglier, bulkier, and much less awesome. I would be willing to bet the screen will run off of voltage lower than 12v, Or, you could just power the p...

There's really not much about the ps2 on BH or modretro, but check out Bacteria's site. They've got some good info. Very nicely done. It'd be really cool if you put a little playstation logo in the middle.... the controller looks sorta empty there.

Re: GameCubePocket worklog
I'm still waiting on my wii classic to come, so I can do a comparison on the boards and the L and R triggers. I got two classics today :D and my friend sold me a mini madcatz wireless controller. The Madcatz controllers don't have the c stick on a seperate board, which can make things harder, but t...

Re: GameCubePocket worklog
I don't think anyone should buy that second controller, the intec one. If you read the reviews, it sux and breaks, and neither of those things are good in a portable.
