I really liked Circle of the Moon. It was my first advance game and the irony itself that you needed the power of the sun to light the advance, and it was called Circle of the Moon, yea.. You're thinking of Boktai, methinks. http://gameboy.ign.com/articles/450/450039p1.html And yeah, CV3 and Sympho...

Hmm, I think I *may know* what the problem is. OK, on the PSONE, on the right of the four pin cable, is a black 'switch/box thing', right? OK, on top is a button, press and hold it, and then turn on the unit...see if it works. Hmmm, a pic would be good.... Thanks, but I already checked the door swi...

Ok. It could be the ribbon cable then. How did you remove the cable from its plug in the first place? The first time I grabbed the top edge of the card thingy with my fingertips and wiggled it out. The second time (right before I installed the chip) I grabbed the left edge vertically with a pair of...

Re: Aesthetically pleasing project (or humidifier help)
Not sure what's wrong with your humidifier but I go through one about every two years (used on/off everyday for about 2 hours total per day). If you go to Walgreens they have their own brand usually for about $20-$30. I've never used a warm-mist humidifier but the cool-mist style creates a very neat...

I'm pretty sure you'll need a different chip.

Well, I opened it up again today just to verify my solder connections, everything looks OK. One of them was extremely tiny and I was a little iffy about it, so I desoldered that one (ended up doing the other five too). Unfortunately, I'm still having the same problem. It boots up, the drive doesn't ...

Disc drive not working after removal, help is appreciated!
Well, I opened up my PS1 yesterday to install a modchip. I put it back together and the disc drive isn't spinning anymore. I opened it back up, inspected the ribbon cable, and reseated it nice and tight. Still nothing. I opened it up again and verified all of my solder connections, still nothing. Fi...

Actually, I'm making one myself, however, may sell it. It's not the ones for Ben's Book but possibly better on either look or feel or playability. Look at 'CTFAN's PSONEp' as an example of what the finished product should look like. You mean after I finally found an awesome deal on a PS1/LCD combo?...

Planning ahead on PS1P: Who can build me one?
Hi folks, First off, great forum! I know you guys are probably sick of these requests, but hear me out. I just picked up a PS1/LCD combo locally for an awesome price :) and lack the skill/time to make it portable myself. 1. Is there anyone here who's built one 'by-the-book' and would want to do it a...
