I'd say that's a pretty fair price for how much work it must take to make them all look that good. I used up 500GB in less than a year. I use it for movies, emulation, pictures, some VMs, games, and probably some other stuff that I can't think of at the moment.

Galoob did release an adapter that could be ordered free of charge to add compatibility with the new (at the time) top loader, but not too many people actually ordered it. Try looking on ebay for a while until one turns up.
