I might be trying again.
So... my old portable is in the closet right now in a cardboard box in peices. I have torn that thing up so bad I don't think it works any more. Today, I went to the thrift store and found a really cool little screen. It's a Sony Watchman from 1984 that looks like this: http://www.guenthoer.de/doku/...

Re: Duke Nuken Forever is officially dead, along with its maker.
Woah, when I saw the name of the topic, for a second I thought somebody had actually died because of the wording "along with its maker." That's too bad, I was kind of hoping they would pull through finally. Also, I laughed at the GM joke.

Re: Rare computer found, technical issue
Megatron, the cards in the computer aren't the card you were talking about. It looks like I'll have to find one if I want the computer to work correctly. Thanks.

Re: Rare computer found, technical issue
I don't know if I have the tools for it, but I can ask my father if he has them since he does work with a lot of computer systems (systems administrator). Seems like a good idea though.

Rare computer found, technical issue
I was at the humane society thrift store the other day browsing the printer/keyboard/various unlabled computer cables section when I spotted a large white object with its shell almost completely torn off. I crouched down and looked at the unit. It was some sort of IBM, it had a neat sliding faceplat...

I told a friend about the picture about the Columbia disaster where a news station accidentally ran the words: "Scientists estimate shuttle was travelling 18 times the speed of light..." and I quoted the caption "Eighteen times the speed of light, because, f**k you Einstein." -He laughs- "those scie...

My portable seems to be the only one left with a broken link.

I got freaking spyware from that site. Then I just ended up with more and more spyware until I had to reformat. Curse you Internet Explorer!
...and I still use Internet Explorer.

I'm an infrequent user nowadays, and completely unstable, yet I expected to see myself on that list. Guess I've been gone for much too long.

I just watched a show on the History Channel about "Retro Tech." Rainbow Records in California says they produce one record for every four CDs. I say that's far from dead compared to the cassette tape and the 8-track. (By the way, any hardcore fans of that format? ) I wish I could get my music...

Seconded. Best by far. Tell him to screw himself. If he's your friend because he can push you around, that's not a friend to keep. Why don't you tell HIM how you feel, not us? Alright, that's cool. If I catch up to him tonight, I'll let him know. Otherwise, I'll see him tomarrow in Gym. Infact, scr...

Perhaps you can forget about the whole thing because in reality, it's just some free forum crap that only you, your friend, and occasionally some others will notice. :P Sorry, but it's only true. http://www.terminally-incoherent.com/img/facepalm.jpeg Anybody have an answer that might possibly do me...

I need some administrative advice
Well here's the story. I joined a video game club at my school, and it has a forum. The forum, however, is controlled by a former friend of mine who I can no longer tolerate, and he's running the site like its a four year-old's tree house. He's got wierd club rules, takes himself way too serriously ...
