Re: 6 year Old Colorado Boy Floats Away In Balloon
That's what it's looking like, yes. They were on one of those morning fluff news shows (The Today Show or whatever) and the kid said that his father told him to hide in the attic while the balloon flew away. The father said, "Don't you mean you fell out and I told you to go to the attic after the ba...

Re: kasar´s psp mods
That's so Pringles!
(sorry, couldn't resist)
I'd like to see a case mod for one of these thingies. You know, pop it into one of those old Coleco tabletops that look like an arcade cabinet.

Re: GARAGESALES 2008-2009!
Are the sidewinders really at all desirable? Feh, not when Sega Saturn USB controllers are available on eBay for $15. No controller is finer for emulation and 2D gaming, and it even works with the Playstation 3! (Not the Xbox 360, thanks to the lousy dirty stinking misers at Microsoft and their ins...

Re: Hacking Neo Geo Pocket? Want to make a mini arcade
If it ever stops working, you can tell your friends that it's just that time of the month for it...
Seriously, that looks wicked cool. You should try something like this with a PSP, with the Neo-Geo emulator installed on it.

Feasibility Study: Making a Dedicated GBA cartridge
A couple of months ago, I started work on a GameBoy Advance conversion of the old arcade game GORF. I recently put the finishing touches on the game and am really happy with the final product... so much so, in fact, that I'd like to make cartridges for both myself and a few friends. I'm just wonderi...

Re: Adventures Into the 360
I wish you the best with this, man. I'm going through a similar situation with a Playstation 3 I bought on the cheap at eBay. The system works, the drive doesn't, and it's been a real bear trying to find a replacement. Even after I get it, I'll have to swap out some parts from the old drive to make ...

Very rarely a good idea to ask for that information in a forum. Also, your Google-Fu is weak. Train harder.argelfraster wrote:How do i mod an xbox 360 to play pirated games?

Re: Get the Fix: Playstation 3
That's the way it was shipped, actually. There was a copy of Sleeping Beauty in the drive, and it wouldn't eject, nor would it play. The previous owner said that the drive was working fine before his kids crammed in the disc, so there's some hope that the lens(es) are still functional. I don't know;...

Re: Get the Fix: Playstation 3
I think I know what's wrong with the drive... I'm just not sure what to do about it. There's a black bracket on the left hand side of the drive that is supposed to slide up and down, but it only wants to go up... pulling it down is a Herculean effort to say the very least. I don't know if I'm descri...

Get the Fix: Playstation 3
Long time no see, folks! So... I was hunting for deals on eBay, and came across a Playstation 3 for an outrageously low ninety bucks. The only issue (and you knew this was coming, admit it!) is that the Blu-Ray player won't read discs. Evidently the previous owner's rambunctious kids jammed a DVD in...

CR2032 battery holder that will fit in a SNES cart?
I've installed battery holders in Super NES cartridges, hoping to make it easier to replace the battery once it dies. However, the only problem with using a battery holder is that it generally won't fit inside the cartridge... it bulges a few millimeters on the side when the cartridge is closed. Is ...

Re: The Xbox 360 digital conversion
Dunno, to be perfectly honest. I just need one bit for each direction of the left thumbstick, if that helps.
