Spiderman did need to get bit by a mutant insect to be "super" but he also doesn't need gadgets to win. What do you call his web shooters? Are they not gadgets? The movie (and I think maybe a couple of non-canon one-shot comics) are the only places where they are anything other than something he in...
So, saying that theory = crap (or unverifiable statement of belief) is not necessarily true This is certainly true. You are much more likely to be full of crap if you start making statements about "scientific fact." Most of our useful knowledge of the natural world is classified as "scientific theo...
I do. What else is there to belive, other than science? (Lets have this be the end of that, no politcal, or religious arguments. Forum Policy) If you aren't trying to spark some silly political or religious debate, why did you even write your original post at all? It is, implicitly, a statement on ...

That's probably not such a great idea. You should use a voltage regulator. The reason for this is that your N64/LCD combo does not pull a constant current in all modes of operation. The single resistor will actually cut a different amount of voltage depending on the current the N64 and LCD are drawi...

Actually, you can't expect to get accurate resistor readings while the resistor is on the PCB. When a resistor is in a circuit, if you try to measure its resistance, you will actually be measuring the resistance of that resistor in parallel with the rest of the circuit. So, you'll get a resistance v...

GD-Roms
From my limited experience and what I've read, it's only a small minority of DVD/CD-rom drives that can successfully read GD-rom discs. Most ripped games people pirate on the internet are ripped using devkits or the dreamcast broadband adaptor. That is, unless something has really changed in the las...

I know you don't know me from Adam, but I figured I'd post. A friend of mine bought something very similar about three years ago as an import from Japan. He was able to install and run a bunch of older computer games and run MAME, StarCon2, Doom, etc... He had a lot of fun with it for a few days. Un...

No, that's not quite what you need. You need 10V, 850 mA, not 850mAh. mA stands for milliAmps. mAh stands for milliAmp-hours. An 850mAh battery would only power your genesis for about an hour-- and much less if you are also using it to power a screen. You really want as high an mAh value in a batter...
