Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
I wouldn't think the Panasonic Q would use different screws than the normal Gamecube. It's the same one I use for the Sega Nomad so there will be means to open the Panasonic Q at the show if it is the same. Hopefully the fan is just dusty and got cracked or damaged in any way. Have to watch some Q d...

Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
I'm willing to be the one to buy the room, but the absolute earliest I'd be able to be there to check us in would be around 6pm on Friday. If nobody else with a more convenient schedule can, I can do it as soon we figure out numbers. Looks to be about $127/night for "four people" in a room with two...

Re: Modify SMS to use Game Gear Games
The color palette difference between the consoles (12-bit RGB palette, 4096 colors GG and 6-bit RGB palette, 64 colors for SMS) would make this not a very pleasant viewing experience, if possible at all.

Re: Midwest Gaming Classic 2013
I'll probably spearhead this again, since I still have the emails from last year between Dan, Dennis, and myself. Ben, are you going to have Ball Paxton/another Pinball machine downstairs again, or are you going to try to have it in the museum again? Is Chris Kraft going to bring a 3D Printer again?...

Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
The extra table would be good...if we had the room lol. I dunno if there'd be enough space, as it was a bit cramped last year (maybe it just felt cramped with the lack of that extra table?). Anyone know what's up with our sleeping/partying quarters? ...am I going to have to get one of those face th...

Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
The only thing we really need to figure out now is how many tables we need (last year's +1 I think would be ideal) and when to hold Lorne's Seance/Electronic Exorcism.

Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
I'll be in charge of the BHE area again & we should have the same space for the "Benheck Experience" as per previous years, sharing with NintendoAge and Dennis. We were in the BHE area all night Friday and Saturday, so the necessity of the Suite is more or less been phased out. I won't speak for Tri...

Augh so much cool stuff missed. TBH ending auctions on Thanksgiving probably wasn't a good idea.

I accidently blew up a Sega CD this way.ttsgeb wrote:The NES has an AC-DC rectifier in it and has been shown to work fine with Sega Genesis PSU's time and time again. Don't try that the other way, though.

Re: GARAGESALES 2011!
$100 is a pretty good deal for Kyle here imo. Last I checked they were around that on eBay, plus selling fees/hefty shipping cost/shipping hassle, on account of its massive size. I'd most likely take the same $100 local deal all day for mine and not have to worry about the headache. -Tapatalk Mobile...

Re: Happy Birthday Dreamcast (12th Anniversary bump)
The dreamcast is now a teenager. The console is starting to get close to the age I was at when I bought one. That certainly didn't help me not feel old.

Re: 3.5" LCD with RGB input? (for Nomad modding)
Some of them on eBay claim to have RGB output, but you know how that goes with Chinese sellers (falsified battery mah, inflated resolution sizes, etc). Most of the older conversations about this, that I remember, were written off as "not worth it" due to the improved visibility not noticeable enough...
