Re: free case
Just so you know. I use the xl softcases in my portables. I use them to house the carts. They will NOT house a portable. There are other cases on there that are bigger. So look around.

Maybe if you lowered the price a bit you will get more business. Just my opinion.
Good luck selling it

Re: N64 Portable
I would use a little bit thicker wire for the battery wiring but then you can use the controller wire for anything else.
Computer cables are good sources of wire for relocating the cart slot.

Re: Ipod Mod
I believe the casings were the same size, the hdd were the same size in measurements but not in gigs.
Seriously consider making your own case out of plastic sheets and glue them together.
Also you will need an audio amp for the speakers, otherwise it will be too quiet.

I'm going to try and make this better, put it in a new case, and fix the buttons.
So this isn't for sale anymore.

Re: geno whirl's N64 portable worklog
Just use two 1k ohm resistors.geno whirl wrote:I got a 100uf capacitor for the 3.3v regulator but they did not have any 2.k-ohm resistors. Will a 2.2k-ohm resistor work?
