Re: NES 72 pin replacement problems
Figured it out. I was testing using the RF on an old TV and apparently the RF out is broken. I tested the RF switch on my Master System and it works fine so the RF in the NES is down. I cut the 4th pin on the 10NES chip and now everything works like new. I broke the pin and was not able to ground it...

So I rebent the pins on the original connector and get nothing. However with the new connector I occasionally get a picture it is just really distorted. Any thoughts?

NES 72 pin replacement problems
I replaced the cart connector on my blinking NES, it would occasionally work so I know it was fine. Then I replaced the connector yesterday and now it nolonger blinks but I am not getting a picture using the RF or component out. Are there any common issues that I could troubleshoot?

Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
Speaker cabinets have been built I need to build a box for the sub and amplification system and the audio will be complete. The top and other remaining woodwork has been cut and sanded, just waiting for warmer weather to stain and finish. Below are pics of the completed control panel. http://i1210.p...

Custom Game Controller for Tablet
Has anyone ever made a custom controller for a tablet? I just bought a Nexus 7 and was thinking about gutting an XBOX 360 controller and using one of those snap on hard shells to build a controller that would snap onto the tablet. Any thoughts?

Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
I have taken all the unnecessary parts off the computer I am using for the brains, I finally have a screen, and just ordered the CF card I will be using for storage. Next on my list is building the internal frame for the screen and PC board. Breaking down the PC so it fits in the cabinet http://i121...

Re: Making a Game Gear TV Console
To have the gamegear play to a TV you would need to use something like Lovablechevy's RGB mod click here to get the video. Then you could make a controller port by soldering to the Game Gear board then to a serial port or something. You would not need the product you linked to. Just the RGB mod and ...

Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
Some progress pictures. Everything but the top has been cut, drilled, and fitted together. I am sanding everything down one final time and will then begin staining and lacquering everything. Ends the center frame http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc409/ElectromasterN64/Arcade%20Table/ArcadeTable01...

Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
I was recently inspired by Surface Tension's Double7 arcade table and decided to build my personal take on this design. I have built several tables before so I am hoping to finish this sometime soon. So far I have built the control panel, the center structure to support the drawer and legs, and have...
