ABCinc's first portable
I'm ordering a 3.5" screen from ebay, it will be here within 2 weeks, as well as my batteries. My batteries are 2000 mAh Li-on kodak batteries, their 3V each. try looking for a retro duo, its smaller, and i think its easier to work with, but thats just me.

I want to make one now... I guess my SNES project is on hold, oh well.
But I'm pretty sure it's legal, unless it can go over 50, well that's how it works around here, but you might get in trouble for riding it around on public roads.

just look at the red and black wires on the photo, thats how i did it, and it still works, but make sure to attatch a heat sink on to the regulator, or it will fry it, go buy one of the more expensive ones at radio shack, those seem to work fine. just attatch the heat sink to the screw hole in the r...

i found this at bacterias (mind my spelling) website, so this is where you would attatch the female jack to the board, just make sure it matches up to the batteries positive and negetive leads, hope this helps.

i used my 30-40 watt iron, but it only pulls a bit of solder off, then it won't get the rest out of it, i'm using a desoldering braid, what would make it easier to get it out? i will post some pics later, so you can see what i mean.
