Stereo Modding Your NES
Here's a tutorial for stereo modding your NES. Ben already made an excellent guide for isolating the 2 audio channels, so refer to it before reading this similar guide. First, find the 3 resistors in a row just below the expansion port. Their values should be 20K, 20K, and 12K, respectively. Don't p...

Re: The Entertain Boy
@Hifeno: That is a PS1 power supply. The model Playstation I used was an SCPH-9000, but it's probably similar for the other board revisions. Looking good; great job with the cart slot. You just got me interested in Atari (never owned one).

The Entertain Boy
http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx156/mgirbino/NESp%20no%201/entertainboylogo.png I finally finished my portable NES. I call it the Entertain Boy. It has stereo sound, which is perfectly amplified by a 74hcu04 hex inverter. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyTHKFUF1KY http://www.youtube.com...

Re: The Entertain Boy worklog (resurrected)
Well, I finished it. No batteries yet.
Unfortunately, my power supply crapped out, so I'm making a new one. Pics and a video later today.

I relocated the cart slot yesterday, all 72 pins. That was not fun. The new slot is a card-edge connector from Newark (the one Vomitsaw found a while ago). Re: The Entertain Boy worklog (resurrected)
I installed the low-battery indicator circuit. The led on the left is green and the one on the right is red.
