WTS/T GameDoctor SF for SNESp or SNES (or listed items)
Hey, I haven't been on this forum for a while, but I picked up a Bung GameDoctor SF for a relatively high price and found it's more trouble than it's worth to me, so I'd like to trade it (and maybe some of the items listed below) for either a portable SNES or an original SNES. As you can probably te...

Re: Freakiest dream/lolwut to OH **** moment (s) you had/saw
I was on the bus going home from a flea market or something one day, and the Iranian woman sitting near me in the back of the bus was talking VERY loudly on her cellphone about how smoking pot and drinking alcohol "gets you SO copulate up". Probably one of the biggest WTFDIJH (WTF did I just hear?) ...

Re: Anyone here skateboard?
I used to skateboard all the time. I could ollie really high, do 180's, heelflips, pop shuv its, boardslides, 50-50's, etc. I can still do most of that, but never really skate anymore. Now I unicycle all the time. It's so epic. Unicycling sounds like lots of fun... probably more fun than when I rid...

Re: Game Gear with DS backlight problem: what voltage do I need?
Yes I have a multi-meter. I have done a quick write up on Sega-16. I just used a DC DC converter to give the backlight it's own power source. Take a pic of the area you want to know about. The model I used was single ASIC. Mine's a single ASIC model as well. Oh, and could you link me to that write-...

Re: Game Gear with DS backlight problem: what voltage do I need?
You need 12v. I have just done this today, works well. Not as bright and the colours aren't as vivid, but ok. I used a LM2577 DC DC step up module to do this. I guess I'll check around for an LM2577. It'll probably won't be less bright and vivid than the single LED I have in there already. You don'...

Re: Freakiest dream/lolwut to OH **** moment (s) you had/saw
I probably won't ever go far as writing a book, but maybe I'll make my dreams come true on http://www.fanfiction.net , where you can post your "what-if" stories. maybe I will, maybe I won't, it all depends on my interest in it and to answer everyone's question on "wtf is fanficton.net?", is just a ...

Re: What should I make out of this vintage 60's chrome toaster?
Okay, my board isn't working and I don't think it's the voltage regulator. I think I may have killed it with static. I have to find a new board... I've made some progress with other things: http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww328/dnlgreenwood/th_DSC00092.jpg http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww328...

Re: Anyone here skateboard?
I mainly use my skateboard for transportation... might get a longboard at some point.
I can only do a manual. I can't ollie, lol. I don't have anyone to teach me. To be honest, I don't really try.

Re: How to make a LED flash once circuit
Hi. How would I make an LED flash ONCE when power is connected. When power is removed, it will reset its memory. Once power is restored again, it will flash once and only once. WTB: working original Game Boy in poor physical condition
I'm in need of an Original Game Boy that works (No dead columns on the screen, powers on, sound works) but is in poor physical condition (has lots of scratches or stains, the buttons suck, that kind of stuff). I'd also accept just the front circuit board, the one that contains the screen and button ...

Re: Freakiest dream/lolwut to OH **** moment (s) you had/saw
FINALLY got another dream; this one deals with an abnormal ability to create portals (not portal 1 or portal 2 portals), but more like I make a portal, I enter it, where-ever it leads to, im the literal god of that place until I leave im with this one dude, and we're going through this city/small v...

Game Gear with DS backlight problem: what voltage do I need?
I just recently fixed up my Game Gear by manually rewinding a choke coil, and there is something that is bothering me: my LED backlight is too dim for my liking. I was going to solder in a couple more bright white LEDs. However, I couldn't find any. I decided to extract the backlight from my old DS ...

Re: Freakiest dream/lolwut to OH **** moment (s) you had/saw
A friend of mine, who was 15 at the time, went to the post office earlier this week to pick up a box of Dreamcast magazines. On the way back, he encountered a slightly tipsy young man on the bus, who asked him what was in the box. My friend told him that it contained magazines. The tipsy fellow aske...

NES not working (no power to the board?)
I followed Vomitsaw's Nintoaster instructional video to make a Nintoaster. I removed the RF modulator and replaced it with a 5v DC power source and a small video circuit. I screwed the 7805 regulator to a heatsink. I also cut down the edges of the circuit board and put in a momentary switch. However...

Re: NES not working...
I ordered a new pin-connector, still didn't work. I just gave up and got a new NES :) Thanks for the help though, I must have put about 6-7 hours into trying to salvage the thing... Oh, there's one thing that I didn't mention; I disabled the lockout chip by clipping off pin 4 of the integrated circ...
