What browser do you use!
Im running ubuntu right now, using firefox. On 9.04 I used swiftfox, which gave me some good results, but I'm looking for something better if possible. I was thinking google chrome, but I remember all that controversy when the beta was out, about them watching what you write or something. Think its ...

Re: Starting a computer repair/IT business
@bic: No store front yet, just maybe drop offs at the garage, or in-house diagnosis's. I plan on getting some certs soon, but that is the problem with separating myself; everyone has the same certs as well. I figure I'll advertise beating any price, no matter what, because I'm doing this for extra c...

Heres the deal, I'd like to start up a computer repair/IT business for the summer, and whatever happens after that. (i.e if its successful) I don't plan on renting out any stor...

Re: Is this illegal?
Using emulators is 100% legal. It just depends on what you are using it for. (Much like the issue with using a torrent program) If you play all home-brew games (as in free independent games) its legal, but downloading the ROMs of existing published games and playing those, well thats questionable. (...

Re: wifi?
No. An access point (Which was linked) works within the network as a way to move ethernet ready devices into said wireless network. The most you might have to do is plug it into a computer once to set up some basic information. Aside from that, you just plug in an ethernet cable to whatever you wifi...

Re: Electronics course
a lot of places now offer dual enrollment during high school. I know people who are physically enrolled in a college for online classes that they take during their high school periods, and then take those credits as transfer credits to the college of their choice.

Keyboard Question
I'm thinking of a doing a new project. Installing LEDs into my keyboard to light it up from inside. (Underglow for the keys)I was thinking of doing it just for the main set of keys, so around 3 LEDs should work. But heres my question, can I just hook up 3 LEDs to say, the scroll lock LED, and it wil...
Re: music
Right now I have a Marantz 2230 running into a set of old Sanyo speakers, with an old turntable combo running into the aux port. (It's amplified within the combo, so I need to find a good standalone soon) I have a pair of Technics speakers holding up some countertop that I use as a desk for this com...
