I personally didnt think the stock stick was that bad. It worked great for neogeo games, i was able to pull off moves with no trouble in Samuri Shodown. It does take some getting used to in other games though. I really only did the d-pad mod because I love to tinker with stuff. I definitly wouldnt h...

You can go to Radioshack and buy contact cleaner in the parts isle. Its similar to the stuff thats advertised on tv all the time to remove oxidation from jewelry and silverware. Thats pretty much what you need. Dont sand or file the contacts. It may make them work, but you'll do more harm than good....

Ive got a gamecube d-pad in my gp2x. I used a piece of the original gamecube pcb, since all the traces were coming out of the same spot. I used the original carbon contact pad. The actual plastic d-pad itself required a lot of trimming to get it to fit "below the surface" of the gp2x. A gameboy adva...

Ok, i tried this last night with a PC Engine. Not much luck. I was able to get a very distorted b&w picture. Tons of interference. I could barely make out the Konami logo in Salamander. Ive heard the PCE has a little bit weak RGB signal, so i suppose its due to that. Might try building some amps and...

I know this is an OLLLLLLD thread, so sorry for bumping it. I tried to get RGB input on my hipgear screen (which uses the same chip). However according to the datasheet, RGB input is pins 40,41 and 42 (which i used). I was unable to get it to work. I didnt think of tapping directly into the rgb out ...

I have two starfox 2 beta carts, both of which i made using Stunt Race FX carts. For the amount of time it takes to make one, i doubt you'd find any in a used game store. (i took this pic before i tested it. Then i realised i had soldered the eprom in backwards :P ) http://files.myopera.com/grahf/al...

Ive had both. If your more into messaging and email, get the Sidekick. The sidekick has probably the best mobile keyboard ever IMO. All the apps are super integrated on the sidekick, and working with data between them is a breeze. Im currently using a sk2 as my phone. If your more interested in gami...
