Re: Wii + USB Keyboard = ?
I hope so. Ive got a PC hooked up to my livingroom TV for web browsing, but ive been contemplating replacing it with either a Mac Mini or a Wii. If i can hook a keyboard to the Wii, that will do the job. Otherwise, mac it is. I dont think i could stand using just the pointer to enter web addresses.

Ive preordered a Wii, so i dont think im going to try the demo kiosk. It'll probably just leave me with blue balls :D And also, component video all the way. I have a NICE hdtv, and component cables for my gamecube. The difference it makes in games like Metroid Prime, RE4 and Eternal Darkness is phen...

Darth Fett, those games do not use batteries. They use flashram. I just looked at my own Aria of Sorrow cart, and it turns out it uses a common part: an MB85R256 chip made by fujitsu. Info here at top of page: http://www.fujitsu.com/global/services/microelectronics/technical/fram/index_3.html Its a ...

I personally own a nice HDTV (Sony KDS-R50XBR1). Here are my thoughts on the whole hi-def thing: I dont care. Games like Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness (some parts), and even God of War in some areas, look absolutely phenominal at 480p. Hell, DVDs are roughly the same resolution and everyone is hap...

Question: What do you guys thing of the new virtual console style marketplace (ie: Wii, Xbox arcade, sonys "Me too" arcade). Do you think it will have an impact on the prices of original game carts/cds? I feel thats a good question, since a lot of us here are collectors, or just like playing "real" ...

I NEVER preorder, but I did preorder a wii just now. I wouldnt have, except that the gamestop is about 50ft from my work. That, and all my coworkers were already going down to preorder. The clerk said they were expecting about 50 Wiis, and they had about 30 of them preordered at about 10:30 when i g...

Thats pretty neat, neoflash says their snes flashcart is going to be basically just an adapter, and a DS flashcart will plug into it. Im going to pick one of those up when they come out. In case anyone is wondering, my tototek flashcart is now at home inside a black Killer Instinct cartrige shell. T...
