This is my first post in the Trading Post, so please bear with me.
Anyone have a Hip Gear screen pad? I don't care what system it's for. I'm willing to pay $20.00 to start with, but I'll go higher if I have to.

Re: Where can I get a Hip Gear Screen Pad?
Sorry, but I know practically nothing about modding, so I have no idea how I would go about powering such a screen... would this run off of 4 AA's?

Where can I get a Hip Gear Screen Pad?
Hey everyone, I've been considering building a Game Grrl , as they seem easy and cheap(and because I need to practice my modding skills). I have found where to get all the required parts except for the Hip Gear Screen Pad. I have looked everywhere and can't find anything. Anyone know where I could f...

Re: N64/Gamecube Hybrid?
I was going to make it portable, but it would probably be easier to make it a home system, wouldn't it? For now, though, I think I will make it portable.
EDIT: Never mind, I'll probably make it a home console because of my non-existent modding skillz.

N64/Gamecube Hybrid?
Hey all, I have recently been thinking about making an N64/Gamecube hybrid. I wanted to have a 3-way switch such that when it was in the middle, both systems would be turned off. When you slide it to one side, the Gamecube turns on. Slide it the other way and the N64 turns on. How would I go about d...

Re: Lightweight 14" screen?
Thanks, jdmlight! I was looking for something as cheap as I can get. I don't know if I need widescreen or normal. The case I'm using for the Gamecube Laptop is a 17X12" briefcase. That'd be widescreen, right?

Sorry, dragonhead, but that wasn't very helpful. What I'm asking for are specific links.

Lightweight 14" screen?
Hey,
Need a 14" screen for a Gamecube laptop I'm making. It needs to have composite input, and be no more than 1.5" thick. Anyone know of any screen that fits this criteria?

Re: Gamecube Laptop
Thanks a lot, people! I only wanted to use a different drive to see if I could have a tray that popped out. It's probably technically possible with the Gamecube drive, but it would require extra electronics.

Gamecube Laptop
Hey all, I'm new to these forums as well as portablizing. I was considering making a Gamecube laptop out of an old briefcase. The briefcase is ~20" diagonally. I was wondering, could I use any old optical drive I had laying around, as long as I have the correct wiring? If so, how would I wire such a...
