It was more that she was listening for the key phrase "A Woman" and ignored all those answers that meant that.
Also she was the stupid blonde that has ruined being blond for all people.
edit: well more accurately, made blond people less attractive to me.

Re: what's the dumbest thing a non-hacker has said to you?
Well, it was in response to a riddle, I'll put it in a spoiler incase someone wants to try and figure it out first. Also it is long. The original exchange took the better part of an hour, but it was comedy gold. Blonde (Bl): “You think you are Soo smart but you don’t know anything.” Me: “Come again-...

Re: Rymel's Handheld PS2
I think that looks to be a receptacle, though I am uncertain as to the pitch/size. If you could post a picture of it next to a ruler I could figure it out. Given the amount of fire I've seen, I would not say that my 'knowledge' has been all that effective. The new batteries may be rated at a higher ...

I was thinking more along the lines of a desk/shelf combo unit turned to its side that would blend with an existing living room set what with the dark stained pine or...

Re: Rymel's Handheld PS2
Sounds reasonible; I misread your earlier postings. Your choice of battery is appropriate, and I believe that either the PCB or the original chager should work. The original MLP555584 batteries were rated to charge at a rate of 2800 mA (max) at 4.4V(max) (1.0C, 12.32VA), and your new PL8570170 batte...

There have been a few Ikea→arcade conversions, but I've yet to see an upright.

Re: Sharp Nintendo Television(Video)
A heads up about the aluminum oxide. Do not attempt to reflow the solder if it changes to a solid copper-gold colour after treatment. It will become super brittle and require an uncomfortably high temprature. Just clean it off and resolder The other joints that did not change to that colour did not ...

Re: MAME Coin op question.
It is no more elegant or 'right' than using a microprocessor. If I knew how to write a debugger/sandbox then that would be the way to go; the program I've described would sit neatly in its own thread with no additional HW, instead in a $10 micro. I am certain that someone on StackOverflow could do i...

Out of curiousity, Does anyone know the actual OCR-B font size that Canada Post wants. The stupid website says "Only one size" then completely fails to specify what the [edit] it is. [edit] bastards! Why couldn't they atleast linked to the complete specs for packaging provided by their "consumer gui...
