Wiring (S)NES internal controller with auto override and...
Some of you know about my tweaks to the SNES controller system in my Super Famicom A, and the results. Some of you don't though, so I'll say something. It was not a one-time thing. Here it is, MONTHS later, and the setup still works. As the NES has the exact same controller wires and configuration, ...

http://www.planetnintendo.com/thewarpzone/famadapt.html Neat trick. There are other ways too. First, if there are only 3 screws in the cartridge, it is NOT an adapter cart. The adapters are only in the Christams 1985 era carts which had 5 screws holding the cart together(which eliminates most of th...

I've had an adapter for a while, since BEN even figured out how to get them from the game cartridges, as well as a wiring diagram. I plan to put the Famicom connector in parallel with the NES connector on a Game Genie, making the first Famicom/NEs compatible with a built-in Game Genie. I have all th...

That will work. My SNES portable is made that way. And if you get NI-MH batteries, they will last you a long time. I've had my Super Famicom A built for a few months now and its batteries show no signs of having any problems. If you use NI-Cd, make sure the batteries are completely dead before you r...

I have 2 different Atari VCS models and want to know which to hack up. ^^ So which should I save? The four switch with all the stickers on the bottom, or the 6 switch with no stickers on the bottom?

Atari 7800
Has anyone ever tried an Atari 7800 portable? I would, but I am to chicken to rip apart my precious 7800, esp. after I just got 5 games for it yesterday!
Those games are Pole Position II, Ms. Pac-Man, Food Fight, Robotron 1984, and Xevious.

PS2 Power Supply break-through!
Many of you know that I was vauge on the details of the PS2 power supply design, and now I'll tell you why. Though I could get it to work, I decided to go for a simpler design, and I have found one. by using a 555 timer chip and a few 7473 J-K Flip-Flop chips, I think I can get a latched signal some...
