Re: Basement Modder's rough PS2p wiring diagram and other info
Your RGB lines are wrong in the diagram. You need to put the RGB input to the screen on the left, with the power wires, not on the same set of pins as composite and audio. Otherwise, nice.

Re: Is this bad? (Gamecube) [Images]
No, you should still be able to safely put in memory cards. The front pcb is for the reset button, four controllers, battery and power led. As long as all those are functioning, then the gamecube is in working condition. If you still want to keep the gamecube, I suggest you make a request in the Tra...

Re:Z's Gamecube Portable
Well, my Rev C cube magically came back to life. So forget Rev A, I'm going to use my smaller board! Because of the problem I had with my 7808, I was wondering, couldn't I just feed 5v directly into the psone screen from the 5v line on the cube's motherboard? I would just solder a wire fro...

Re: Portable-making contest again?
Today I soldered the two replacement ram chips to the my new n64 ala daftmike style. I also prepped the wires for the third time that I'll successfully relocate the cart slot to the RCP. :D Screen died, though. Gotta save up some monies to get a new one. SS Heh heh heh... I have done away with it a...

Re: Desertman123's shop of junk! Come and see!
Actually, some do, but only through emulation. All of the newer 80 GB and all 160 GB models will not play ps2 games at all, actually.desertman123 wrote:It's a deal! Also the all the PS3s with 2 USB ports don't play PS2 games.banditpaw1 wrote:Pokemon blue for battery plus charger?

Re: Spare VGA LCD, 15 inch VGA dell , slim PS2, can you help me?
Okay, there PS2-VGA adapters out there, but since you wanted to stay homemade, then heres a pinout for the lines on a ps2. Please ignore the ps1 part, since you'll be using a monitor. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v32/davicoro/PSoneScreenToPStwo.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;...

Re: Gamecube protable project worklog.
Frankencasing is when you take old cases from used electronics, melt and bondo them together, then sand them down to make a new case.

Re: Gamecube protable project worklog.
The only pictures I have up are already posted in my worklog, a few topics down. I'm probably going to keep the current heatsink, and have one fan push the air out, and the other with pull hot air out of the system. As for my casing, I'm hoping to make a vac-forming table, but... I might frankencase...

Re: Spare VGA LCD, 15 inch VGA dell , slim PS2, can you help me?
If you can or are willing to learn to solder, create new cases (frankencasing, vac-forming, cnc casing), etc. If you have any of these skills, also consider: What exactly do you want to do? Do you want to completely recase the whole system and lcd? Do you want battery power, integrated wireless cont...

Re: My first PS1 build, first build ever actually!
You might want to check out the stickies a bit first, as well as other people's projects to get some ideas. If you do have the entire summer, then try a NES first. They sell tons of clones that will suffice for a NESp on Amazon and ebay. You can get some screens from places like dealextreme, and mis...
