Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
Final assembly is underway. All thats left to do is to make a bezel to go between the tinted glass and the screen and then find out how to mount the PC power supply. Kinda thinking about having a bezel printed and backlighting it but I may just go with black. Beginning Final Assembly http://i1210.ph...

Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
The new bandpass enclosure is finished and installed. I used acrylic on the new sub enclosure and it looks sweet! I have a little more to do to the screen, I decided on removing the original housing and making a wood bezel, and then will get that installed. Finished Enclosure http://i1210.photobucke...

Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
Thanks! The majority of the screw holes are unnecessary I just bought a bunch of large socket bolts and dexided on where to put them for a more industrial look. I like the polish on the original and thought about buffing out the finish but I decided on something a little more rugged looking and I am...

Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
Just ordered the glass! Didn't like the fit or finish of the subwoofer enclosure above so I went back to the drawing board today and will have a different one finished soon. Not sure what I was thinking when designing the first one because it was hideous.

Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
Powered everything on for the first time today since I broke down the PC back in August and everything still works! Most of the internal wiring is finished and I will be picking up the glass this week. After that all I have is final assembly and it is finished. Bandpass Subwoofer Enclosure and Audio...

Modify SMS to use Game Gear Games
Would it be possible to modify a Master System to play Game Gear games? I know the video processor in each is different but would any thing else need to be modified?

Re: Arcade Coffee/Cocktail Table
We had a couple days in the 60/70s which allowed me to put some preliminary coats of lacquer on the tabletop. It still requires extensive sanding and several coats but with temps back in the 20s it will be a while before that happens. Here are some more progress pics. Stained and Lacquered Tabletop ...

Re: Creating Multi Platorm Systems
What is the allure of creating a multi-platform system in a Dell tower? Seems like taking great original hardware with their nostalgic case design elements and shoving them into an ugly cumbersome box. If you are going to go multiplatform build something visually appealing and adventurous like a ste...

Dreamcast SD without Dreamshell?
Has anyone developed a way to use the SD adaptor for the Dreamcast without having to use a CD to boot games? The only project I know of for that is this one http://dknute.livejournal.com/41023.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but I am sure there are others.
