Re: I want to buy your soldering skills! (no joke. real money.)
Hey all, So I've been screwing around with my gamecube lately, and you know what I've realized? My hands shake like my old grandfather's! I find a bit of Scotch or some beer really smooth me out. Coffee does just the opposite. -mg edit: 2 years and 3 months to get 50 posts. I've learned so mu...

Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
I sanded and painted the Bangai-O controller. I think it came out pretty good for my first "frankencase". I wish I could paint as well as Customnesdude though. I'm up to level 41, controller still working great! http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr307/skeneegee/bangaiocon3.jpg to MikeyG: I am Mike ...

Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
Merged Dreamcast controller button mod thread into Afternoon Projects thread. It doesn't sound near as fun when you describe it. It's a freakin unbelievable Bangai-O controller! I'm up in the high 30's levels now, and it just keeps getting better. The controller is still working perfectly! mg

I found the 32x model 2 genesis cord I have, would you trade it straight across for RE3?

Re: Bangai-O Controller
You bet, the 4 directions on the second d-pad are the ABXY buttons.Basement_Modder wrote:Is that still usable as a dc controller?

Bangai-O Controller
Bangai-O is such a great game but it can be kind of tricky to hit the diagonal shots in the heat of battle. I took the d-pad from a wireless ps2 controller that I don't have a receiver for and soldered it to the ABXY buttons on the DC controller. I would have loved to use dual joysticks but I don't ...

Could someone help me choose a TV for gaming?
I'm in the market for a new TV. Currently I use just a CRT for gaming but want to get a big LCD or plasma. I brought Guitar Hero to my brothers to play on his LCD and I couldn't hit any notes on time. Later I learned there is a delay or latency. Could someone give me some (good) advise on what to lo...

Some help with a simple schematic
Hello, I'm in the process of doing the internal vga mod on a dreamcast. While looking at the schematic at mmmonkey.co.uk I noticed the unused terminals on the switch and thought a NOT circuit would fit right in there for an led to indicate when vga is on. Does someone here with superior circuitry kn...

Not "Prize Fighter", it's all bad.
I think the best are "Double Switch(54/100)" and "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers(4/10)" as far as SCD FMV games go.

Re: Bombs over Baghdad [The Song, No Politics.]
Years ago I burned a cd with just the music from that song and would take it karaoke night at the bar and rap it. I had to memorize the lyrics and it's pretty fast but I had it down. The song I could never do was "break yo neck" by Busta Rhymes but not from lack of trying. Good luck, that's a great ...
