Re: 3 things.
In case your deal doesn't work out (not saying it will, but just in case), and for future reference, I bought the 32X cable you're looking for here: http://www.stockcable.com/products.php?pid=17&detail=true" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It's six feet long, but it works fine. Oddly e...

Re: GARAGESALES 2008-2009!
Scored some awesome stuff this weekend! I got six or seven PlayStation games, inclusing "Resident Evil 3 Nemesis" and "Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee" (disc-only) for a total of $4! I also went to Toys 'R' Us yesterday and found a Sony-brand PlayStation component cable on clearance for $8 - I didn't have m...

Re: What was your worst injury?
Let's see... I broke the little toe on my left foot by smashing it into a wall on my way upstairs. I also twisted my ankle in a bike wreck and it hurt like hell, so I was really surprised when my sister broke her ankle a few weeks ago when she crashed her motorcycle - she could still walk on it, fle...

Re: DTV SWITCHOVER IS NIGH
My family doesn't. I think it's idiotic to pay for TV that still contains the one thing that makes free TV free - commercials!Harshboy wrote:Honestly, who doesn't own Cable these days?

Re: DTV SWITCHOVER IS NIGH
ABC was the only one that really gave us issues - apparently they gave many others in the community issues, too, since they're now working to improve their signal, supposedly. I'm not terribly pleased with digital, but I've gone over that before. Kind of sad to think my current TV's only going to be...

You guys realize nightwheel posted that video a month ago, right? (Not trying to steal your thunder or anything, bic.)
That said, I love it!

Re: What can I build with 37 dollars a soldering iron etc.
None of the above - you want a watch battery or something similar. The rest are too big and would weigh it down/cause it to become unbalanced/other undesirable things. Also, from what I've heard, you'd do well to start with a new toothbrush with angled bristles. I imagine one that's been used would ...

Cool, that gives me a good excuse to finally get "LittleBigPlanet" and "Killzone 2" updated!

Re: GARAGESALES 2008-2009!
It's a cheapo one, unfortunately - one of those $50 ones you'd buy for a young kid before investing in a good one. That said, however, I hope to be able to use it for something - the lenses might be good for something as long as they're not super cheap plastic ones, and the tripod might be good for ...

This, only everything else around me gets all warped-looking for a minute or so, as well.lifeisbetterwithketchup wrote:The closest thing to the Tetris effect I get is "Guitar Hero/Rock Band" effect. You know, when after playing for awhile, you look at your TV and your eyes continue the scanning-constantly-upward pattern.

Re: GAME & WATCH & TV
The only problem with this project, it will be useless because of the digital switch in a monthor so. VV monthor? What is monthor? There is no item in my dictionary. It was an error. He meant to say "month or". Your project is very interesting, and I am looking forward to seeing what else you've ma...

Re: PSN Usernames
Ah, but you see, that's just the problem: I don't have it. I've been perpetually broke ever since I decided I'd like to get a new TV months ago, and saving up for such prevented me from buying said games. (Not having a job of any kind sucks.) I had to tap into my "New TV" fund to get "Killzone 2" - ...

Re: ps3 identification
To tell just by looking at it, I believe any PS3 with card readers will be backwards compatible with PS2 games. Also, if the PS3 is all black like this: http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/7420/3459ps3.jpg It's a 20GB model and will be fully backwards compatible with PS2 games, but if I recall correc...
