CSRSS corrupted, how to fix?
My CSRSS.exe has become corrupted, and is fragmenting files my harddrive, preforming dozens of chaotic R/W 's every second. I suspect that this is a result of a trojan. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_5u1-UezYAVA/Tb8x-bhF9UI/AAAAAAAAAsY/_IF2mrIX0gw/s400/2011.05.02.goddamnit%20windows.png (After t...

Re: Commodore Monitor Question
Maybe, do you know what model it is? Otherwise look for an analog monitor compatible with a 15.5 kHz horizontal frequency. Digital EGA/CGA monitors will distort the colours severely, and most VGA need a minimum 30 kHz horizontal frequency or they self-destruct (really). www.amiga-hardware.com Monito...

Re: Canadians... What could do better, this next time.
The problem is how the Liberals and NDP campaigned. Ignatiff is actually quite competent, though out of sync with Canadian politics. The Liberals (in my riding) were also very classy in person, and I had made up my mind to vote for them when I visited their (linked form their website, and Google Ad....

Re: Replace analog pot with digital pot?
The 'mode' switch toggles the use of the other two buttons so that you can adjust either the channel balance or the volume . I could redesign using the MAX5456 that has seperate buttons for volume and balance if you want (but that will require more buttons). docs.google.com 2011.04.27.pdf desribes t...

Re: space bar feels weird
Pop the space bar off again and check to see that the 'wings' or other tabs are not bent, then try putting it back in again making certain that all the elements align when they clip together.

Re: what's the dumbest thing a non-hacker has said to you?
The use of the possessive "his" implies familiarity; but it isn't a very clear way of stating the fact as it could imply that the boy was a pet/slave or that the man was his legal guardian (other than father). In any case, this was some time ago, and I would like to think that since we both graduate...

:/ it's not like these threads will be avaible when they reach legal age.
Personally I prefer throwing darts and billiard balls (w/ a j`tlai).
