My screen didn't have 4:3 option!
Can I get a link to the seller?
And yes, those screens go into "sleep mode" with no video feed to save battery.

Re: someone build me a portable nes or n64
Yes, I agree with blaze. Safest thing to do is to find a premade one that someone wants to sell. Otherwise you commission someone and they (sometimes) do a subpar job and you're unhappy with the end result. So, yeah, do as blaze says and find someone who already made portables that you like and with...

Re: The Dock64
The two different types of 4.3" screens that I got from ebay both run at 7.4v.
And yeah, you could step up, but batterylife would suck.

Pinout would most likely be exactly the same of any other Pot based stick.

All lipo cells are 3.7v
Buy two 3.7v 5000 mAh cells from batteryspace.com with a 7.4v pcb and charger.

Thanks for the reply.
It's a 4.3" widescreen screen from ebay. I ran it on my stock n64 with my games, so I ruled that out. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Re: GC Mod questions
The Gamecube doesn't have a slot for a ribbon cable, so you solder directly to the board.

Heatsinks - Gamecube
What kind of heatsinks are suitable for a GCp?
If I had the whole back side of my case be a big sheet of copper and use thermal paste to attach it and epoxy the sides of the board down, would that be enough to keep it cool?

Re: Use Cell Phone Batteries to power a Nintendo?
It doesn't work that way. You can either add voltage OR Ah. Not both. Buy this if you wanna be on the cheap: http://cgi.ebay.com/2-x-Canon-BP915-Battery-Car-Wall-Charger-C2-E1-/120691100299?pt=Batteries_Chargers&hash=item1c19c00a8b#ht_1584wt_910" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It will...

Re: psone screen power pin
You can see the trace as it is outlined in darker green, just like with all motherboards.
Follow the trace up a tiny bit, scrape the green paint off, apply flux, and solder the wire there. The pad that you soldered to is probably ripped off.

Re: Wondering how I can do a mod to my n64 to run off batteries
Test it with a multimeter before hooking it up to your n64.
As for other places for batteries, you can try ebay for similar cells but they will be bigger and less quality.... but cheaper.
I personally bought mine from that site.

Well that sucks...
I only had Pokemon Snap for the longest time so I thought it worked great, I mounted the board in the case, hooked up everything and was about to close the case when I noticed this...
Gonna have to rip everything out
