I thought that that thing just had an emulator running on it. Or is it a real copy of the 2600 hardware? Because if it's just running an emulator... well, just about anything can emulate an atari 2600 nowadays.

Is it not booting because it's overheating? If that's the case, then you just need a new heatsink/fan (or waterblock) to cool it down.

I plan on buying the PS3 sometime later, when I can afford it. Probably around March or so of next year. I can't wait to see the homebrew on that thing! Think of the possibilities... a cell processer and a hard drive preloaded with linux! Though of course, sony could severely limit it's capabilites....

PS3 vs. X360 vs. Wii vs. Wii60 Googlefight!

I just thought this would be fun to do. A googlefight is simple. You google multiple things and compare the amount of hits. The more hits, the more popular something is. Xbox 360:172,000,000 Wii:117,000,000 PS3:98,300,000 Wii60:169,000 I just thought that might be some kind of indication of how the ...

The first thing I did after I ran this was to check the network update. Surprisingly, 2.81 doesn't exist yet. I think it's funny how libtiff is listed as one of the contributors. I tried to open it up in the gimp to try to figure out what made it work and it crashed... so the GIMP must use lib...

I would ask for the PDA watch if I didn't already have one... so nothing there really interests me.

So, will the SD cards be the only way to play games on the virtual console? Or will the wii have a built-in hard drive? If it doesn't, then it'll be fairly expensive to buy a bunch of high-capacity cards to hold a decent amount of N64 roms. And I wonder whether the virtual console will be an emulato...

I really do wonder who's going to 'win' the console wars this generation. I think that the PS3 is going to kick ass in Japan, along with the Wii. But over here in north america, it's really up for grabs. Nintendo does seem to be targeting the nongamers, but they're not going to get many of those. Mo...

I'm gonna get flamed by all the megaman fans, but I remember getting one for the N64 and you ran around as mega man with this weird dancing monkey and you were on a ship as well. Can anyone name it? Edit: Nvm, I think it was Mega Man 64. Unless there more that I do not know about. that was a port o...

What's more, you can't replace the hard drive because it has an encrypted code that matches the mobo. That's why if your hdd dies, you can't just buy a new one and replace it. The 360 uses a much smaller hard drive. Use XBOXHDM with a backup of your C and your eeprom to make a new HDD, or get a mod...

Hey guys... I'm new to the forums and just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. I'm pretty sure a 360 portable would be easier than an xbox portable because the xbox uses a huge hard drive and a huge dvd drive. What's more, you can't replace the hard drive because it has an encrypted code that matches the...
