6v will work fine if you just hook it up to the output pins of the 7805. It's not very sensitive to the input voltage (just like the toploader NES), so you should be fine with anything from 4-6 volts. I ran mine of of 4AAs for a few hours once. But if it eventually gets fried from using 6v, don't bl...

What's so hard about putting games on the psp? It's just drag and drop... Well, first get the popstation exe and extract it to a folder. Then you have to "obtain" the hot shots golf 2 eboot. You rename that to BASE.PBP and put it in the same folder. Put your disk images in that folder, too. After yo...

You need to convert the PS1 iso's to eboots with popstation (it's with one of the OE update downloads, I think 3.30OE-A). And for some reason, some ISO's won't work so you need to make a BIN and a CUE. Like vskid said, snes9xtyl, gpSP, NesterJ, and Daedalus are the best emulators for their respectiv...

Game Gear! That was my first ever gaming system, and I still love it. It may be big and eat batteries, but I spent hundreds of hours playing sonic on it as a kid. And it's blue! But for a current system, the PSP is the best. As has been said, it can emulate almost everything, has great multimedia ca...
2 Things - 420 actually has no historical significance. It's surfacing is completely random. Yesterday's National High Five Day was MUCH more notable, because high fives ROCK! Actually, April 20 has a lot of historical signifigance. It's Adolf Hitler's birthday (he's 118), Appolo 16 was launched, t...

What exactly does the GP2X do that PSP doesn't? I thought about getting a gp2x once, but I didn't see ANYTHING that my psp didn't already do. And the PSP has a pretty good commercial game library (I know some people would disagree with that) and wifi over the gp2x. I love linux and open source and a...

It's digital rights management. Basically, it prevents you from playing your music on anything other than your pc and your ipod, so you can't distribute it to other people. Now they just need to start distributing the songs in mp3 format, so you can play them on everything, instead of just ipods and...

That's pretty old... I tried it out about a month or two ago. Bluetooth doesn't work. I still prefer my Xbox controller with hacked-up USB cable, though. Except for the PC version of Metal Gear Solid... the Dpad is way better than the xbox's. And the Linux kernel even has an option for xbox contolle...

Stop the Mac hating. Any computers used in a public school are inherently unstable due to the beating they get from kids and the incompetence of underpaid support staff. Our school didn't even have a support staff... And public school PCs aren't inherently unstable, the windows PCs at my current sc...

If you watched to the end he reccomened windows. Though Linux is still way better... I remember using macs at school, with OS9. That sucked... and we actually got one emac with OSX that I used once. It looked pretty cool, but it wasn't really practical. At least it didn't crash as much as OS9 (of co...
