Re: PCB Board Layout Question
Even though snowpenguin is exaggerating, it isn't going to be easy. You'll need hardware to run your OS on, meaning you'll probably need a simple computer of sorts as well. You'll need to build its PCB and code it yourself. It will take lots of money, and a good deal of knowledge in electronics, pro...

Re: Should I?
Alright, thanks, Brian. I was actually thinking of doing a Retro Duo, but I would really like to relocate the cart slot, and relocating two sounds like hell :( Again, thanks for the advice Brian. That's sort of how I planned on doing it, making sure the system and screen work as is, take them apart ...

That's rather sexy. Do you plan on making the D-Pad, Start, and Select buttons white as well? That would really add to the effect.

I'd really like the first screen, but the lack of speakers is a turnoff since I don't have much extra cash.

Dibs on SNES controller. Tape on the cord means split cord? Is it fully functional?
Anywho, this is just dibs, it may be a bit until I buy it as I want to make sure I have everything I need before I purchase it all.

Re: Should I?
Yeah, I've been looking on eBay and I'm not sure if I'll be able to do this for $100 dollars, which is my goal. SNES Mini's are expensive!

I'd be interested in the first screen. It accepts composite and is fully working? What other features does it have? Brightness, contrast, volume, etc? What are the shape of the speakers?
The second screen, it accepts composite video? I assume it has no speakers? What features does it have?

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm not sure really where to start, because there are quite a few different guides, and every one of them have different methods. That makes me wonder whether one is better, or if one is wrong

Should I?
Hey forums. I've been considering heavily whether or not I should make an SNES portable. Mind I'm not electronically inept, much the opposite, I've worked with electronics quite a bit. I have $100 as of right now to invest in the project. I just don't want to invest and realize that there won't be a...
