Re: PSP Redux
Very clean work. It looks great. How does it feel to hang on to? Do you have room to put a larger capacity batter in there?

Re: Arcade Virtual Boy Project
Gorgeous work! It looks so professional! I especially love the attention to the tiniest details, like the dedication plaque and the serial number tag. The cabinet is just plain gorgeous!

Re: Game Gear Powerboard needs a new smd cap
There isn't a value on mine, but it looks like it's redundant. It's connected directly to the canister cap, C12.
I don't have the correct type of multimeter for testing caps, but I do have some extra Game Gear power boards. Drop me a PM, and we can work something out if you're interested.

Re: FS/T thread- EVERYTHING MUST GO.
Bump. Losing house, job, and shop. Got to get rid of stuff, since student housing has zero personal storage space. More to be added as I keep packing.

Re: Yet another FS/T thread.
Bump. Any interest at all in the arcade cabinet? Unless someone's seriously interested, I'll probably scrap it come May.

Re: Yet another FS/T thread.
I've got an arcade cabinet that's been sitting in my shop for damn near two years. I don't have the time, the money, nor the space to do anything with it, so I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to pick it up before I chopped it up and trashed it. It's pretty much the cabinet shell. The coin mechanism...

Re: Game Gear LCD Upgrade
Lovablechevy had it hooked up to a PS1 screen that accepted RGB. She redid the circuit several times, but it never worked properly. Found the new converter, though. http://members.iinet.net.au/~stinkyfist/reviletim/ggtv/ggtv.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Composite, S-Vid, and RG...

She did tell me she found a source for a premade one. I don't remember where the link is. She's done it both ways an...

Re: Yet another FS/T thread.
Also, can I see some pictures of the mobo? How much o ship it? Let me see the electromagnet! (Aka a close up of the magnet!) I can do pictures of it, but I don't know what you mean when you're asking about the magnet. It's just a plain board with all the little parts and connectors. There's no hard...

Re: Sega GameGear Problem?
It sounds like the capacitors have gone bad, to me. Have you had it open yet? Check the screen ribbon cable, first of all. If it's still smoothly curved, not kinked, and doesn't have any tears in it, it should be fine. There are at least four different mobo revisions of the GameGear, you'll have to ...

Re: Yet another FS/T thread.
@Doug I am very sorry for being so slow, but it's shipped and I've PMed a tracking number and pictures. Let me know if you didn't get them. @KingKolton9 It's just a bare motherboard from a laptop. I don't think desktop gear will fit it. Also, general interest check: I have a black DSi that Nintendo ...

Re: Yet another FS/T thread.
Doug will get his GameGear this week, but any others will have to wait. I'm out of parts and waiting for an order to ship.
I'm sorry for getting behind on responding to PM's, school and jobs are wearing me out. If you're expecting a response and I missed it, please let me know!
