Re: Soldering charged battery cells.
Tin the tabs quickly. Tin the wires. Heat the tabs and the wire at the same time to make a good joint. Just be sure to do it quick and you'll be fine.

Re: Reason why n64 wont boot after connecting controller?
Sounds like you're wiring it wrong. Are you soldering it to the original points on the n64? If so from left to right they are 3.3v(red) data(white) then ground(black). Most controllers follow the same configuration. Check with your multimeter first though.

Sure. Send me a PM with specifics like how much you'd pay and such. I have all those parts on hand by the way.blaze3927 wrote:any chance i could pay you to install triggers/analog stick/power switch/plug on that second n64p case?

Re: Screen help for N64 portable
You do realize that the n64 is spec'd to run off of 12v right?
Usually most things rated at 12v will run fine on 7.4v. All of the 3.5" screens I have used ran off of 7.4v, I've also had a few that ran on 5v.

Re: Commission me to trim and rewire your N64!
I can also do full wiring jobs! Actually I could build an entire portable if you want. PM me and I can basically do anything your heart desires. Except RCP wiring, haven't tried that yet, but I will soon!

Re: Max length for slot
Most I've ever had to work on both the SNES and N64 was 7 inches maximum. The same principle should apply to the NES.

May I ask the deminsions of that case, or is it the same as a DMG?
